About the film
Viktor never meant to kill anyone, but now he is on the run. He crosses the whole country to Vladivostok on the Pacific coast, where an old friend might be able to smuggle him out of Russia.
Instead he meets Nika, beautiful and unpredictable, and falls in love. She promises to help him leave, but in a port city full of people with their own plans, nothing goes the way Viktor expects.
A modern Mosfilm drama written by Karen Shakhnazarov, it uses the port city and the sea as a real character in the story.
