About the film
A group of men in their forties are called up for a few days of military training. In the very first exercise their unit is declared destroyed, and they are free.
Instead of going straight home, they wander through a series of dreamlike places: a town of women, a home for old people and other strange stops along the way. It is the night of the 'parade of planets', when the planets line up.
A haunting parable about middle age and the passing of time, with a superb Oleg Borisov.
